We offer 20 hours of continuing education credit for completing the course. These credits can be used in a variety of ways to satisfy statutory and regulatory continuing education requirements.

First-time township clerks, village clerk-treasurers, and city auditors

The credits we grant for completing this course that can be used by first-time township clerks, city auditors, and village clerks to satisfy statutory continuing education requirements. Note: To satisfy the continuing education requirement of newly elected township clerks, city auditors and village clerk-treasurers, the course must be completed and credits earned between December 1st and February 15th immediately following their election.

The Auditor of State of Ohio provides specific training for certain newly elected officials, and this program should be used to supplement these programs not as a substitute for them.

Village clerk-treasurers annual continuing education

The credits we grant for completing this course can be used by village clerks to satisfy their annual continuing education requirements.

County treasurers

The credits we grant for completing this course can be used by county treasurers to satisfy continuing education requirements of newly-elected treasurers and their annual requirements. Note: To satisfy the continuing education requirement of newly elected treasurers, the course must be completed and credits earned between December 1st and the first Monday in September immediately following their election.

The Auditor of State of Ohio provides specific training for certain newly elected officials, and this program should be used to supplement these programs not as a substitute for them.

Accountancy Board of Ohio

The credits we grant for completing this course can be used to satisfy the continuing education requirements established by the Accountancy Board of Ohio for Certified Public Accountants. In addition, these credits can be used to satisfy Government Auditing Standards requirements for training directly related to the government environment and to government auditing.

Certified Government Financial Managers

The OFAC course topics fall within the topical categories qualifying for continuing professional education credits under the CGFM program. Successful completion of the each chapter should qualify the CGFM for 2 continuing professional education credits, consequently, successful completion of the entire program will qualify the participant for 20 continuing professional education credit hours.

Ohio School District Treasurers

The OFAC program covers governmental financial topics of interest and importance to Ohio's school district treasurers. Each chapter has been designed to qualify the participant for 4 contact hours, consequently successful completion of the entire program will qualify the participant for 40 contact hours.
